Food Box Packing: These are boxes of food items that are provided to families who reach out to The Salvation Army for emergency assistance.
Spice Preparation: The Salvation Army receives spices in bulk. Volunteers are needed to break them down into smaller family-size portions.
Book Labeling: Volunteers are needed to label books for families.
Tours will also be available to anyone who is interested. You must pre-register using the link below. Lunch will be provided.

Plan to join us on Monday, March 27th when our Youth Community Development Team (YCDT) will inspire you with their presentation regarding teen homelessness.
Save the date for Jumping for Judson on Monday, April 3. The Rotary Club of Harrisburg is now planning a fundraiser that Andy Rebuck has creatively titled Jumping for Judson to close the gap and raise the final dollars needed for the Judson Fellowship Fund.
Jumping for Judson will include a fundraising auction, reflections, door prizes, and fun on Monday, April 3 during our usual club meeting time. We promise, no actual jumping is required!
The Judson Fellowship Fund was established in 2020 in honor of Dr. John Judson to offer an annual Rotary Club of Harrisburg membership to a deserving individual. It is our hope that the Judson Fellowship Fund, and its work to pursue diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Rotary Club of Harrisburg would make him smile.
The Judson Fellowship Fund will provide enough income for one new club membership yearly. Your gift, and each new Judson Fellow introduced to the club, will help us to develop a membership whose diversity is a beautiful reflection of the Harrisburg community we love.
Many of you have already made an outright donation to the fund – thank you! It’s not too late to join us, and additional donations may be made directly to the Judson Fellowship Fund at the Harrisburg Rotary Foundation. Please put “Judson Fellowship Fund” in the memo line. Our club is also prepared to accept gifts of appreciated stock and qualified charitable distributions from your IRA. Thank you!
Join us at the Food Bank on March 20th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and help us fight hunger in Central Pennsylvania.
We need at least ten volunteers for the Food Bank project to occur, so please sign up if you plan to attend using the link below.
The Food Bank's off-site packing facility is at 1530 B Bobali Dr, Harrisburg. Bring your work gloves and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes. We have way too much fun for this to be considered service. Come on out and learn what it's all about!
