No Club Meeting Monday
In Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
 
The safety of our club membership and the health of our community is of the highest importance, and we feel it is prudent to take a brief pause as we monitor the current state of COVID-19 in our service area.
 
We will not hold our scheduled Rotary meeting on Monday, January 24th due to the current surge in COVID-19 cases in Dauphin County.
 
Additionally, all club meetings in the month of February will be held via Zoom. Our club's board of directors thanks you for your flexibility, understanding and consideration of the health of our community members.
 
Service on a Monday- January 31
We're meeting in person at the Camp Curtin YMCA on January 31 at 12:00 to assemble period supply kits for students at John Harris High School, in a partnership with the Period Project Harrisburg.
 
Facts about Period Poverty in the United States
 
            1 in 5 menstruating teens cannot afford to purchase period products.
            4 in 5 menstruating teens have missed class due to a lack of period products.
            3 in 5 menstruating teens are ashamed to talk about their periods.
            4 in 5 menstruating teens are taught more about frog anatomy than their own anatomy.
 
RSVP IS REQUIRED by Thursday, January 27 at noon. 
Attendance is limited to the first 20 registrants.
