Jeffrey L. Nichols is the Chief Executive Officer of The National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining The National Civil War Museum, he was the Executive Director of Georgetown Heritage, a philanthropic partner of the National Park Service in Washington, DC, and before that, he was the President & CEO of Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest, Thomas Jefferson’s retreat house and plantation located near Lynchburg, Virginia. He also worked at The Mark Twain House & Museum in Hartford, Connecticut, in several roles, serving as Executive Director for the final four years of his tenure there.
Jeffrey serves as Treasurer for PA Museums and has served on the Board of Greater Lynchburg, VA Habitat for Humanity, and was the Treasurer of the VA Association of Museums.

2023 Rotary Scholarships Available
Apply today! $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to eligible high school seniors who attend John Harris, SciTech, and Steelton-Highspire High Schools. An additional scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior attending either Harrisburg School District's Virtual Learning Academy or Cougar Academy.

Luggage Case Needed
The Tech Team is in need of a Large or X-Large hard-shell luggage case (checked-baggage size) to store their equipment. It is currently being stored in three different containers, and they would like to consolidate everything for ease of transporting to Club events. The City of Harrisburg presents the M&T Bank Ice & Fire Festival on Saturday, March 4. This free event will feature more than 50 large and small ice sculptures, an ice slide, fire dancers, live ice carving, fire pits, free smores, performances by local school and community groups, kids activities, food trucks, vendors, a cocktail/coffee/cocoa crawl and more.
The city needs our help with this event! Many volunteers are needed to assemble s'mores kits and to assist with the ice slide. To sign-up please use the city's volunteer link pasted below.
