Thank you to the Dictionary Project volunteers for making this such a successful community outreach project for the Harrisburg School District! May 9th was the final presentation of dictionaries to 3rd & 4th graders at Scott Elementary and Cougar Academy, and smiling faces from the students wrote a story of love of learning and created great memories for all. This is truly what Service above Self in Rotary is about.

The city of Harrisburg needs our help with Artsfest. There will be volunteer opportunities available at Artsfest at all different times over the holiday weekend, May 27-29. The city is looking for volunteers to assist the artists leading the community art project. There will also be time slots to help in the information tent and "booth-sitting" for artisans so they can take a quick break. Cortney Ranck-Cameron, Manager of Special Events for the city (and everyone who enjoys Artsfest) is counting on us!
