Club 23 Youth Exchange Student Lailah Gray
I’ve spent years searching for myself in academics, sports, and friendships, but I’ve realized I can’t finish that search if I never look beyond my hometown. There is more of the world to see—and more of me to find. As a middle child with a strong sense of independence, I know this exchange would help shape the person I’m becoming. I see the world as full of color, and I want to collect as many colors as I can—experiences, cultures, and perspectives that will help me grow.
The Rotary Youth Exchange program is my chance to step outside my comfort zone and discover who I am in a new environment. I want to challenge myself, learn new languages, and build friendships across the globe. As a Rotary student, I would proudly represent my community and return with stories, lessons, and a broader understanding to share with others.
To make this dream possible, I need help covering travel and program costs. Any support—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing my story—brings me closer to experiencing the world I’ve always dreamed of. Thank you for believing in me and helping me take this important step toward my future.
Our clubs meets for lunch two times per month.
Members and their guests are required to register for meetings by the Wednesday prior to the meeting.
