Speaker:"Ryan McCrory is the Executive Director of Dauphin County Library System with almost 25 years of experience in a variety of settings—University of Washington Libraries, Seattle Public Library, Boone Area Library, and Lititz Public Library. He is an active member of Pennsylvania Library Association and a lifetime member of American Library Association. He also serves on the board of Hosting Solutions and Library Consulting, as well as being a member of the Freedom to Read Foundation, Association of Rural and Small Libraries, Public Library Association, and the American Historical Association.

The hallmarks of his approach to leadership are a dedication to the mission; a profoundly curious and flexible nature; and a high degree of forward thinking. As a result, intentional innovation has distinguished his career. Having worked at every level of librarianship, Ryan understands the unique and evolving needs of a library’s staff and community in a diverse service area and appreciates everyone’s contribution to the larger organization."
