Keep up with Henrique and his year in Monroe

Here goes the report:

This month was also great. With my family, everything is still really, really fine. My relationship with my host parents and host brothers is so great.

We changed trimesters today. I already had many friends in most of the classes, and only in US history and geography I didnt know anybody, cause it is a sophomore class, and all my friends are juniors or seniors.

Well, I've been going out with my friends a lot. Of course we always ask for permission to Kari and Scott Hughes, and it is always a lot of fun. Last time we (my friends, my brother and I) went to Taco Bell, and then we came back home, but it was still cool.

We use to see a lot a foreign exchange student from Germany who studies here, cause she lives close and lives alone, so is usually bored. Well, we plan to hang out with our friends more from now on, so we're making plans.

I'm looking forward to the next meeting with the exchange students, and I've been waiting for photos from my family to put in my Power Point Presentation for my Rotary Club. I already have some work ready, but it is not what I decided to do, so I'm taking my time to do another one, and I think its gonna be better: as I talked to Dr. Bush, I'm going to put photos that show my life in Brazil, as well as my city, state and country themselves. I think its gonna be good.

I've been talking to Victor, from France, about our presentation in Mackinac Island. I still need a confirmation from you Paul, if we can play the song Queleu un m a dit, by Carla Bruni. I would be in the piano and singing some few parts, and Victor would be singing most of it.

I think thats probably all. This e-mail is going to my officer and counselor Dr.Busharat Ahmad, the Rotary Coordinator Paul Sincock and to the 6400 Brazilian Rotary Club Outbound Chairman Dr. Rivaldo Albuquerque.

Big THANK YOU to all of you! Henrique
