Fairmont Opera House Volunteer Day

Here is information about the upcoming volunteer day for the Fairmont Area Community Theater.

Volunteer Day - March 25th from 8 AM-12 PM

Items to work on:

• Clean the tech rooms
• Install a countertop in the streaming room
• Take washer/drier downstairs in Genes, install
• Stage Lights hung/removed
• Clean staircases
• Clean facility
• Clean/organize backstage area
• Label all FOH stage supplies (cords, cables, etc.)
• Sew holes in Cyc on stage
• And so much more!

Tools needed - Power drills, saws, sewing kit, hand tools

To show our appreciation to our volunteers, we have created a “Pay It Forward” Initiative, where we will log your volunteer hours and credit them to an event here at the Fairmont Opera House.

For example, if you (or a group member) were to have a graduation reception here at the Fairmont Opera House, you can credit your volunteer hours to that event to reduce the cost of renting the building. You will be credited $10/hour to cover up to 75% of a rental cost.
