The Rotary Club of St Ives would like to thank the 57 students from St Ives High School who submitted essays in the Rotary ‘Four-Way’ Test Writing Competition.
 
The judging committee are delighted to advise the three students to receive monetary prizes are:
 
 
Prize Winners
 
1st Prize  $250 to Amin Habibi - The Importance of the Four-Way Test
2nd Prize $150 to Kate Farkas - A Better Outlook for a Better Future
3rd Prize  $100 to Hilary Ross -  Four-Ways from Age Four
 
 
The judges were impressed by the calibre of all the entries.  They wished to acknowledge seven students in particular whose writing and content was highly commendable.  The following students are to receive Highly Commended Certificates:

  • Abigail Bywaters – A Healthy Teenager with Healthy Relationships
  • Isla Davison – Foundations of a positive relationship
  • Lily Chadban – Testing the ‘Four-Way Test’

  • Auria Nunes – Intuition over Instruction
  • Jessica Yap – Truth About High School Minds
 
We would like to invite the three Prize Winners to attend the Rotary Club of St Ives meeting on Wednesday 30 November to receive their cheques.  More information about that will be communicated to the three winning students.
