WE HAVE ALL THE VOLUNTEERS WE NEED FOR SUNDAY DECEMBER 9 SOAR AND ROAR FESTIVAL

The Special Olympics Australia Soar and Roar Festival is a unique event providing people with an intellectual disability the opportunity to experience the thrill of a Dream Ride in a luxury car.  St Ives Rotary Club has agreed to provide 6 volunteers on Sunday December 9 at Bobbin Head 6.00am – 8.30am.  Duties will include registration, directing vehicles and supplying a BBQ breakfast for drivers and athletes (40-50 people).  The Corvette Car Club will then leave from Bobbin Head with its Special Olympic passengers and drive to the Sydney Motorway where motor clubs from all over Sydney will meet for a lap of honour.  Athletes and other people with an intellectual disability have the chance to experience the thrill of riding in a luxury or classic car to Sydney Motorpark for a lap of honour around the track.

Location is Bobbin Head 6.00am to 8.30am for St Ives Rotary Club to direct vehicles and prepare a BBQ breakfast for drivers and their passengers.
