The Stollery Women's Network

Brianne will be speaking to our club about the Stollery Women’s Network (SWN). SWN started in 2014 with a small group of women who wanted to advocate for the Stollery Children’s Hospital’s patients and their families. Today they have a network of over 550 and continue to raise awareness and funds for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Their current fundraising efforts go to our Giving Comfort campaign, which provides comfort items, such as t-shirts, blankets, toiletry kits and colouring books for patients and their families in the Stollery’s emergency room. This is the first type of program of its kind within the Stollery’s ER and last year they were able to raise $267,000.

There are many ways to get involved with SWN, through volunteering at our educational booths, spreading our message on social media, attending our many fundraising events and of course donating to the Giving Comfort campaign.
