A Great Night of Hockey and Fundraising for PolioPlus
The Edmonton Oil Kings scored with 7.8 seconds left in the game to win 5-4 over the Tri City Americans on Saturday night. It was also a win for Rotary's global initiative to eradicate polio. $5.00 from every ticket purchased through the fundraiser link was directly donated and money was also raised through the Chuck-a-Puck contest and the Miss Vicky Challenge. Rotarians who attended enjoyed meeting up with fellow members who were evident by wearing red.
