Everyone had a great time at our first Trivia Night Fundraiser on September 16th, with over 40 people participating in the Pub Quiz format and silent auction. Over $700 was raised with part of the proceeds going towards Sport Central in Edmonton. Thank you to Rooster Cafe and Kitchen for hosting the event and club members who volunteered, contributed, and attended.
President Jennifer did a fantastic job of quizmaster, accepting a few "bribes" for hints that went towards the fundraising total.
Sports Central's Courtney and friends showing support.
Turnout was more than expected with Rotary members, friends, colleagues, and family in attendance for what could be an annual event.
Save the date for Whyte Avenue Rotary's famous Paint Night for Polio. Held at our regular spot, Rooster Cafe and Kitchen, at our regular time. Stay tuned for a peek at this year's painting. More details to come.
