Building a Strong 'Foundation' to Scare off Polio!

‪A few members of the Rotary Whyte Avenue Foundation Committee got together this week to discuss all things foundation!  Members finalized some details on the exciting Pumpkins for Polio family event planned for October 29th (you can catch a glimpse of one of the silent auction prizes in the picture!).  You can read all about our Pumpkins for Polio event here: bit.ly/316QQ8x.

Members also looked at options for a future polio fundraising event near the end of November. We are looking to collaborate with a new up and coming business off Whyte, so stay tuned!

Thanks to all who made it out to this committee meeting and for all of your support to help make Polio history!

Save the Flag Jacket!
At the District conference this year, Ross Tyson's famous flag jacket was kidnapped! We received a ransom note and learned that we need to raise $5000 towards Polio Plus to save the jacket! You can save the jacket by donating here: https://bit.ly/362YuU.
Please let our District Governor Tracey Vavrek know via email (vavrek6.gmail.com) or make post if you are making a donation to Polio Plus in support of returning this world famous and precious jacket.
