Cherise Frederick (left), the special guest at our October 7th meeting, gave a presentation on the important work of the NASAP.
Rotarians learned about different programs that the organization is involved in - with finding foster homes for rescues as its main directive. This also includes providing medical care, training, microchipping, surgery, spay & neutering, and inservicing for foster families and volunteers.
The group is always looking for support and volunteers for everything from transporting animals to bingo fundraising . They are also planning an event at the end of the month to make winter cat shelters. And finally, we hope to support them with a bottle drive in the near future. Stay posted!
