Meeting Theme for May!

This month's focus, as chosen by Mike Greaney, is “Citizen Seniors”. Seniors are citizens first! There will be two special presentations:  Operation Friendship Senior Society, which has been assisting vulnerable Edmonton seniors in need since 1969, and the Alzheimer's Society of Alberta and NWT, which provides information and support to dementia sufferers and their families (see calendar of events for more info).

 

Many seniors today face challenges that include rising healthcare and other costs, chronic health conditions, and social isolation. We look forward to hearing about ways to offer support and potential solutions from our featured speakers.
