Join us on Wednesday, August 10 for a FUN FELLOWSHIP event!
NO club meeting on Tuesday, August 9

The Street Party is the stuff of Fringe lore. The very first Street Party took place in 1984, when we welcomed a then up-and-coming k.d. lang to play to 3,500 people… the largest audience she’d ever played for at the time.

It’s been a while since we’ve hosted a Street Party, but we wanted to say thank you to our incredible community – our artists, our volunteers, our donors, our sponsors, our patrons, our community partners, and YOU! – for standing by us and the live entertainment industry during the pandemic.

Fringers, get ready for this electrifying lineup. The Halluci Nation, Sudan Archives, Sampler Café, and Tzadeka & The Murder Hornettes are lighting up our outdoor stage to kick off Destination Fringe with the biggest, best Free Street Party we've ever thrown. Let's dance!

WHEN: August 10 @ 6:30pm
WHERE: Outdoor Stage in McIntyre Park (103 Street and 83 Avenue)
COST: Totally FREE

This year, a young leader from Poland, Anna Szczena, will be joining 20 other young leaders for a week of learning and inspiration.

Join us Tuesday, August 23 to hear about this dynamic program from both Tamara Larson, Program Director, and RAHR student Anna!

As we reconnect and imagine our Rotary future, we are going to try something different.

We are asking people to support Rooster by ordering off the menu rather than a regular meeting fee.

So bring your appetite and join us for as we hear from this dynamic young lady, her personal account of being a change maker and support Ukrainian refugees and her week of learning at the Rotary Adventure in Human Rights.

Please RSVP to Tamara below so we can let Rooster know how many will be attending.

Online fundraising initiatives
Thank you to all who donated to our summer auction. Due to some challenges out of control, the Set for Summer auction was delayed.

After discussion, consideration of our timeline and the work required to make our online fundraising efforts a success, the committee decided to combine this online auction with our Holiday Spirit Auction in November so we can focus our efforts on our casino as well as expand and create a bigger and better event coming up.

We would be most grateful to those who generously donated items to hang on to them and we can include in our Holiday Spirit Auction. The item donated will make great Christmas gift for loved ones.

AND, we are now starting to collect items for our Holiday Spirit Auction so watch for details. Thank you in advance for your support of this important fundraiser for our club.
