If you would prefer to make a cash donation, or have items to donate to the stockings, please email Kristin or Paige to arrange a drop-off.

Two New Committees

I wanted to announce that I will be forming two new committees.

1.  A Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee - Everyone who engages with Rotary — no matter who they are, where they are in the world, or how long they have been connected with Rotary — should feel valued, respected, and welcomed. These ideals reflect what current and prospective members want and expect from their Rotary experience: respect, ethical leadership, inclusion, and the opportunity to work together to create more just, open, and welcoming communities for all people.
Diversity has long been one of Rotary's core values and continues to serve as a foundation for how we interact with each other and our communities. But we know there is more for us to learn and do in order to ensure that our organizational culture reflects and exemplifies DEI in all ways.

2. A Land Acknowledgement Committee – to create our Club’s Land Acknowledgment

If you have any interest in being part of these new committees, please let me know at ksysak@shaw.ca

It's Live!!!

Our Holiday Auction is now LIVE and will remain open for bidding until Tuesday, December 7th at 8:00PM.

Thank you to everyone who reached out to local businesses and donated personally. We have some awesome items up for grabs including wine, gift baskets, dinner at local restaurants, jewelry, baking and more.

Our last holiday auction raised an incredible $1800 and we hope to build on that success to raise $2500 this year. Please help by bidding in the auction and sharing it with your friends, colleagues and across your social platforms.

You can also support our club by making a donation. If you would like a charitable tax receipt, please donate through Canada Helps. These unrestricted funds allow us to respond to the most pressing needs in our community.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you so much for your support of this very important fundraising initiative!
