Women's Health Coalition
Raising Awareness and
Addressing Barriers, Gaps, and Bias
The Women's Health Coalition is a national organization that began here in 2017 to advocate for women's sexual, reproductive, and menstrual health through all ages and stages of life. One of its main areas of focus is to advance evidence-informed recommendations to decision makers in government and health systems. The WHC engages with the community, encourages innovation to modernize health delivery and educates women to enable them to take control of their own health. Important work includes a National Framework for Women's Health in Canada to drive policy decisions that support women. Click below for more information on this project.
Women's Health Coalition founder and chairperson Carmen Wyton takes questions from members following her engaging presentation at last Tuesday's meeting.
