Now that summer is coming to an end, the time has come to reconnect with Rotary for more good times. We are excited about our upcoming Trivia Night Fundraiser on Tuesday, September 16th & need your help with any of the following:
Donation of gift cards for prizes
Donations of items for the silent auction
Your attendance!.
If you have an item for donation, please text Marianne Auch at (780)850-7762 and it will be picked up any time before the 11th.
New Meeting Format This Year
Hello all!
As was brought up at our AGM by co-Pres Elizabeth, we would like to trial a new model this year: having members choose a month to have a speaker from a charity, NGO, or group they support. With help from the exec, we would ask for a speaker and possibly a big or small volunteer opportunity with or for the member's chosen group. We can look to offer a financial or in-kind donation to the chosen group after they've spoken.
September is focused on making our Trivia Night Fundraiser a success. Elizabeth will kickstart our new model in October, so if you're unsure you can see how it works next month. Kelly and Emelda have taken January and February; we still have November (one Nov. date will be reserved for our Polio event), Marianne is taking April, so we still have March, and May to fill.

Paint for Polio coming in November!
