The Rotary Club of Edmonton Whyte Avenue has sponsored a child in elementary school in Colima, Mexico through Project Amigo. This sponsorship will help provide a child with the tools he or she needs for success, such as shoes, clothing and educational services. This sponsorship also helps to connect the child with people beyond their own community by allowing them to participate in the annual “Day at the Beach” trip and at Project Amigo’s volunteer-driven Christmas Fiesta.
