YESS has sent us a BIG THANKS!! for our help at their Taste of Edmonton - see below for their word of thanks to us (from Cheryl Holburn of YESS). Thanks to all of your hard work in continuing to raise funds for such a worthy cause, and increase our participation and impact in our community.

I just wanted to say a great big

To all of you for helping out at Taste of Edmonton!!

There were a lot of bumps along the way this year, but everyone was endlessly patient and understanding while we tried to figure everything out. Fun was had by all, and I’m so grateful for all of your help and hard work! I especially appreciate everyone’s patience with my numerous emails sent out during recruitment, and to everyone who stepped up last minute to lend a helping hand!

Taste4Kids was a great success, and thanks for all of the time everyone put into learning your scripts and helping teach kids about nutrition and healthy eating!

The Charity Booth collected $650 in donations in just three days! That’s amazing! We also did a draw for an air hockey table and collected loads of Taste of Edmonton tickets for our youth to feast on J Way to go!  

The Beverage Oasis (though it was rainy and cold at times!) brought in almost $9700 for YESS! That’s thanks to all of the hours that you, our industrious volunteers, put in selling soda!

So once again, I say thank you for another successful year at Taste of Edmonton! I hope to see you all out again next year!
