Keynote speaker May 14, 2013: Alexandra Taylor

Alexandra Taylor, Deputy spokesperson and Public Diplomacy Advisor in the NATO Senior Civilian Representative’s Office in Kabul. Alexandra has lived in Kabul, Afghanistan for the past 15 months where she deals extensively with international and Afghan media as well as Afghan civil society. Her speech was a pleasant departure from what we normally hear about the region; the growing arts and music (heavy metal!) scenes. Afghans under 25 years of age comprise an incredible 64% of the population. She encouraged our club to get in touch with the Rotary Club of Kabul via their Facebook page.
