Sponsorship - RYPEN Rotary leadership camp for youth at risk, Jasper Palisades, May 14-18, 2015 (application deadline April 25, 2015)

Selection Criteria: This is a four-day, jam packed, camp like adventure for at-risk youth 18 and under. Applicants should be recommended by your organization, should be already engaged in making a positive change in his/her life, and should have a connection (even temporary) to the Whyte Ave area.
RYPEN selection process: Potential candidates should contact Paige Reeves for a straightforward application form. Selected applicants will be invited to interview.
Funding available: All costs for RYPEN will be provided by the Rotary Club of Edmonton Whyte Avenue.
Scholarship - Vocational Mentorship and Educational Support (application deadline April 25th, 2015)
The Rotary Club of Edmonton Whyte Avenue is seeking proposals from students who need financial support for tuition to further their education and employment goals. All school programs are eligible for support.

Funding available: Amount varies
Application: 2-3 pages detailing a short description of the youth’s plan of action including how we can help, timeline, institution to which they will apply, and other parts of the plan in place or to be in place.
