Alberta’s Future

Rachel Notley is Leader of the Official Opposition and served as Alberta’s Premier from 2015-2019. She has represented the constituency of Edmonton-Strathcona since 2008, and is the longest serving member in the Alberta Legislature. Rachel grew up in Fairview, Alberta, and is the daughter of former Alberta NDP leader Grant Notley and his wife Sandy. She holds a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Alberta, and a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School.

Note: This is a combined meeting of the Rotary clubs of Edmonton (Downtown), Edmonton West, and Whyte Avenue. The presentation is being held at noon on a Monday, rather than during Whyte Avenue club's typical Tuesday at 6:00pm meeting time.
