DESCRIPTION:  Due to the COVID-19 outbreak\, our club was not able to supp
 ort the Operation Friendship Senior's Society (OFSS) by preparing lunch in
 -person this month as we initially planned. In the meantime\, we have c
 ome up with another way to help support OFSS: The Coffee Cup Roundup. OF
 SS accepts donations of new or used coffee cups to use in their centre an
 d it would be great to help them out by collecting cups.   Please check y
 our cupboards and if you find some coffee mugs that you don't use\, set th
 em side and our amazing President-elect Stan B will collect them from you 
 and deliver them to OFSS when it is safe to do so. If you would like to ge
 t the cups out of your house right away\, and feel comfortable dropping t
 hem off on my front porch\, feel free to email Stan (s_bissell@hotmail.com
 ) to coordinate a drop off time.   OFSS has also let us know that ther
 e are  other ways that we can help support them:   1. OFSS Bottle Dri
 ve - if you have a collection of bottles waiting to go to the depot\, you
  can call or email the OFSS Community Relations Supervisor\, Jimmy Morri
 son\, to arrange a time for OFSS to come pick them up from your doorste
 p. You can also take in the bottles on your own and then donate the procee
 ds for a tax receipt via the OFSS homepage.   2. Disposables - once t
 he OFSS Drop-in Centre is allowed to open\, they will need disposable it
 ems\, such as paper plates\, cups\, and utensils. Stan is collecting don
 ations of these single-use items and take them to the centre along with th
 e coffee cups.
