The Teaching, Research and Extension Project on Crimes Against Women was created in 2019 by a group of university students from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) to create a space for reporting and seeking solutions to gender-based violence. Thus, the purpose of this event is to deepen the discussions and knowledge through a virtual Two-Day Workshop: Protection of Children and Youth, on June 24 and 25 at 7pm (Brazil Time)/ 5pm (Chicago Time), with the participation of renowned professionals.

Our very own, Alice McCutchen, PsyD, will be speaking on Friday night. Dr. McCutcheon has experience providing therapy for children, adults, and families, in a variety of clinical settings including trauma focused settings. She has experience serving individuals with an array of behavioral health concerns, as well as experience with children in foster care and prevention training in protecting children from abuse.

This event is made possible by the collaboration of the Rotary Club of Chicago Lakeview and the United Nations Association Chicago Chapter.
