Club meeting at St.Joe's. Through the generosity of of our club member Beverly's employer, the Hospital of St Joseph, several of our club members enjoyed a delicious lunch consisting of roasted chicken and yummy fruit and veggies. Of course there was a variety of soft drinks as well as cookies for desert. We were then treated to several presentations by their volunteers who are "manning" the cloth closet for the needy pregnant patients. Their enthusiastic involvement and their lively presentation was a pleasure to hear. Their operation depends on donations of wearable women and men clothing. You can either bring them to the hospital or you can also have them picked up, if you have a lot. Anybody can donate and vice versa, anybody can come and buy "stuff"in support of this worthwhile business. If you have any free time left in your busy schedule, you can even volunteer and help out a few hours a week selling to the needy. We all enjoyed the change of the weekly Rotary program.
