Interact Club raises money for Shelterbox

The Lycee Francaise Interact Club (sponsored by Rotary Chicago-Lakeview) raised funds for Shelterbox, a fantastic global disaster relief organization (for more, go to www.shelterbox.org)

This brand new Interact Group took advantage of Lycee's French Market Days and displayed the tent and other items that Shelterbox provides, took visitors on an interesting tour (in both English and French) explaining the good work that Shelterbox provides. Their goal was to raise enough money for 1 shelterbox, however they made that and more. So the Interact club is looking for ways to make that TWO shelterboxes.

In the near future, there will be a family somewhere in the world devastated by the loss of their home, who will be provided with a large tent, cooking supplies, sleeping bags, a clean water system and much more thanks to the dedication and hard work done by the members of the Lycee Francaise Interact Club.
