We are so thankful to hear from Pauline Perreault, tonight's guest speaker, who spoke with us about her experiences as a Rotary Youth Exchange participant. She shared with us what life behind the Iron Curtain was like, having been placed in a German home just 9 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Pauline is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Edmonton South, Alberta, Canada and is founder of "Jump Outta Bed," which focuses on leadership development.

We were also happy to welcome our newest member, Peter Woods! Peter is a financial advisor, and our second ever member to be inducted in an online meeting!

Last week we mentioned that in place of our card raffle to help fund our club's service projects, we're encouraging our members and guests to donate to a different organization while we meet online. This week, we want to highlight a fundraiser being hosted by our friends in the Rotary Club of Chicago Near South. This Saturday, they'll be playing "Name That Tune," and invite you to enjoy a cocktail at home while supporting Chicago Public School students. For just $15 you can help a student gain access to the internet as they transition to online learning! Click here to register and support!
