Erin Knowles Wirsing is the Salvation Army manager for STOP-IT, a program which concentrates on all aspects related to traffiking of
human beings. The principal goal is to reach out to this victim population for intervention, immediate aid, and to put them in contact with needed help and services.  Another goal is to reach out to the community and organizations to make them aware of the many problems,  how widespread the situation is, how much help is needed, and how much danger there is to victims and the people trying to help them.
Erin spoke to us on June 23. Our member, Nicole Woodcox, had previously talked to us about this program.
