The Rotary Club of Chicago Lakeview is working to collect items for victims of the wildfires on the West Coast. There are almost 100 large wildfires that have burned more than 4.6 million acres in 10 states. Many have lost their homes and businesses. As people of action, Rotarians can assist those in need with donation of these critical items:

  • NEW Underwear, Socks, Bras
  • Diapers
  • First Aid Items
  • Hand towels / disinfectant
  • Sanitary towels / Tampons, other sanitary products
  • Toiletries
  • Mobile Chargers
  • Masks

All items collected will be donated to a team of volunteers on the ground in the Ashland, Oregon area, where a fire began and burned down 3,000 acres south to the town of Medford.

If you'd like to purchase any of the items above and ship them directly to save on our shipping costs (Amazon Prime, Walmart, etc.), please purchase and address items to:

Paul Behrhorst
Rogue Valley Fire Mutual Aid
15 S. Pioneer St.

If it's easier for you to drop-off donations instead of shipping them, please contact Kevin Spellman at 631.255.5563 to coordinate a drop-off at his home in Lakeview, near the Irving Park Brown Line stop.

Thank you for your support.
