 Greetings Rotarians! Thanks to everyone who participated in last week's "Caffeine and Conversation" meeting. We were able to address several items about our upcoming golf outing and review some of the opportunities available at this year's District Conference. Thanks to Jim Tomanek for volunteering to prepare a gift basket for the conference auction. This week's guest speaker will be Matt King, Elkhorn resident, who will provide a presentation on cybersecurity and IT issues. Upcoming meetings: - July 7: Sarah Fjell, Elkhorn High Assistant Principal and Activities Director.
- July 7-8-9: District 5650 Annual Conference (Council Bluffs)
- July 14: "Field Trip" to COPE, hosted by Jim Tomanek
- July 18: WDC Rotary Golf Outing
- July 21: NO Meeting
We are now within one month of our annual golf outing. As of last week, we have 16 confirmed teams. Our overall budget balance is $19,121.88 which includes $12,580 revenue for the golf outing. Additional sponsorships and volunteers are needed. As part of our meeting discussion, we approved three new banners to be used for advertising and sponsorship recognition. Annual dues ($220) should be submitted to Rita as soon as possible ... July 1st is the start of the new Rotary year.
