Greetings Rotarians!

I again want to express my thanks to the Club for the Rotary President's pen set that I received last week ... I'm proudly displaying it right next to our family photo (my kids think that Rotary is my family!).

Thanks also to Barbara Bartles, our District Governor and to Scott Keep, Assistant Governor, for joining us last week and for Barbara's "Imagine Rotary" focus on Courage, Compassion and Commitment. As a person who has recently traveled to the Ukraine, Barbara was able to share first-hand knowledge of how Rotary is leading the way in the on-going humanitarian effort.  One new District initiative will be to have all Committee Chairs meet quarterly, via Zoom. Save the date ... next year's District Conference will be April 1st at the UNL Innovation Campus (Scarlett Hotel).

This week, our guest speaker will be WDC Rotarian Bary Habrock, Superintendent of the Elkhorn Public Schools.  Bary will update us on the State of the District, future growth projections to also address some of the issues facing public schools today.
