 Greetings Rotarians and Friends of Rotary! This week's meeting is our annual Scholarship Recognition Event. It's the culmination of several months effort, starting with our golf outing and ending with the evaluation and selection of this year's scholarship recipients. Thanks to everyone for assisting in this important process. Our entire meeting will be dedicated to meeting and honoring our students and their families. This year's guest speaker will be Jim Knott, Principal of DC West. Other school administrators and counselors will be joining us so it's important to have a good turn-out by our membership. All "friends of Rotary" are certainly invited to attend to join in this event also. This year's scholarship recipients are: - Lenore Hoeft (DC West)

- Mallorie Ough (Elkhorn High)
- Jasmine Moats (Elkhorn South)
Jim Tomanek is coordinating and providing our lunch meal and Dan Palmquist is obtaining the floral centerpieces. We will need assistance in getting the room ready ... head table, seating for 35-40 guests and of course our podium and American flag. We are tentatively scheduled to have a Member/Spouse/Guest dinner on Thursday evening ... April 27 (6:00 PM at Bravo Restaurant - Village Pointe) ... more to follow.
