Greetings Rotarians! Our guest speaker this week will be Sara Fjell, Assistant Principal and Activities Director at Elkhorn High. It is also the last regular meeting before our July 19th golf outing. Please attend, if at all possible, so that we can complete any required coordination. Mike has expended a lot of time and energy planning and coordinating our scholarship outing ... we want to be as supportive as possible so that we have a very successful event. Thanks to Dan for coordinating the installation of our new overhead projector ... it was good to have reliable computer - projector capability again! Meeting Minutes (July 8th) Treasurer's Account: - Overall Balance: $17,414.14 (Golf = $11,310 and Grants = $160.00)
- Scholarship checks are due to EPSF ($3,000) and DC West ($1,500)
- District 5650 Dues Rebate: Because of a COVID-related surplus of funds at the District, a rebate will be again be provided to each club. We will be receiving a check for $23.91 per member, which equates to $478.20 for our club
District Grant: Our new overhead projector has been installed. We have a club obligation to raise approximately $600 for our share of the matching grant ($440 still needed). Money must be in the Grants account before we will receive funds from District District 5650 Annual Conference: July 23rd - Family Nite at the Park (Werner Park baseball game); July 24th - Annual Conference / Business Meeting (Regency Marriott); July 24th - Family Activities at the Zoo (Henry Doorly) Golf Outing: July 19th (next Monday); Noon Check-In (with box lunch); 1:00 PM Golf Scramble; Raffle Prizes (available at the conclusion of the golfing); Volunteers are still needed for several activities Future Meetings: - July 15th: Sara Fjell (Assistant Principal and Activities Director - Elkhorn High)
