Keep in mind this winter... the policy of the WDC Rotary Club follows the weather closings of the Elkhorn Public School District. If school is cancelled on a Thursday due to weather, then there will be NO Rotary meeting that morning. The same policy applies to Wednesday Lunch Bunch. Thank you!
Mary and Laeequa
Thank you, Mary Pervaiz and Laeequa Ahmad, for joining us on Thursday, Dec. 8. Mary and Laeequa are students from Pakistan studying at Creighton for this current semester. They are Creighton's first US Department of State Global Undergraduate Exchange Students. Mary and Laeequa spoke of their unique experiences in the US, as well as brief history of Pakistan and a glimpse of their lives at home. The girls will be returning to Pakistan on Sunday, Dec. 18th. Safe travels, and we hope you enjoyed your time in the US and Omaha!
