Jill Muegge
Fellow Rotarian Jill Muegge spoke on Thursday, Dec. 15th about her recent trip to the Dominican Republic with Creighton University's Encuentro Dominicano program. Jill's role at Creighton is to recruit students for this semester-abroad program in Santiago, DR. Students study, volunteer, and experience life in rural "campos" during the semester program. The program is celebrating it's 25th anniversary in 2017!

Reminder - there will be no meeting on Dec. 29th (the week between Christmas and New Year's). Happy Holidays, everyone!
 
We have been invited to tour the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital (at Village Pointe) on Thursday, Jan. 19th, so the meeting that day will be held at the facility, NOT AT COMMON GROUND.
 
Keep in mind this winter... the policy of the WDC Rotary Club follows the weather closings of the Elkhorn Public School District. If school is cancelled on a Thursday due to weather, then there will be NO Rotary meeting that morning. The same policy applies to Wednesday Lunch Bunch. Thank you!
