Thank you to Pat Ryan, Regional Development Director of the ALS Association, for speaking with us on Aug. 25. The ALS Association provides information and consultations to those newly diagnosed with ALS, clinical care and family support, a medical equipment loan program, outreach and education, and much more. There are currently about 90 patients with ALS in Nebraska. The Ice Bucket Challenge raised over $115 million overall, and $1 million for our local ALS Association chapter. This money allowed the association to hire more staff, complete further research, and provide more patient services. Thank you, Pat!

Lunch Bunch - It was decided that the Lunch Bunch will now meet once a month on the second Wednesday of each month at Shevy's. The next meeting will be Wed. Sept. 14th at 12noon.
