Thanks to Rita and Rolly for providing lunch at the last meeting! Lunch will be provided this week (it may be leftover turkey, potatoes and dressing) but don’t worry, its only been sitting out on my counter for several days!!

 

Thanks to our speaker last meeting, Larry Bock. Larry shared his knowledge of bootlegging Templeton Rye, plus he provided samples.

Dec. 14^th – Roger Kuhfal with the National Safety Council on the benefits of Industrial Safety assessment and instruction – hosted by Rolly

Dec. 15^th – sort and pack Holiday Food Baskets at Bethany Church in Elkhorn, 9:00AM

Dec. 16^th – deliver food baskets from Bethany Church and DC West Elementary School, 8:30AM

Dec. 21^st – Rotary Member and spouse Christmas Party hosted by Richard Krueger, NO NOON MEETING.

Dec. 28^th – Holiday break, NO MEETING

Jan. 4^th – resume regular weekly lunch meetings.

 

The Rotary District Grant for $1,000 was approved for ground beef for the mobile food pantry. This is a matching grant so our club needs to raise $1,000 in matching funds before we can spend the grant money for the December 13^th food pantry. We must receive your donation checks this week so we can purchase the ground beef next week. Please bring your donation check to the meeting this week or get it to Rita, thanks!

 

Richard Krueger has generously volunteered his home to host Rotary Holiday Party. The event will be Thursday evening, December 21^st from 6:00PM to 8:00Pm at Richards home 17125 Howard Plaza, Omaha (near Pacific Springs Golf Course). Please bring your spouse or guest, whatever you would like to drink, and an hors d’oeuvre to share. We will have a signup sheet at the next couple of meetings.
