PRESIDENT Tod's Report

Greetings Rotarians!

This week is our special "Get to Know Rotary" event at the EPS Foundation building (12:00 noon). We have 12 confirmed guests, to include Scott Keep, our Assistant District Governor.  Hopefully, we will have a couple of last-minute additions. We need all Rotarians to attend, if at all possible.  Thanks to Rex, Rolly, Dave and Jim for coordinating our lunch ($10 for members, free for guests).  Please come early in order to help set up the room and welcome our guests. I will be showing a "Get to Know" slide show, highlighting Rotary International, District 5650, and of course, our own WDC Rotary club.

Thanks to Bary Habrock for sponsoring our guest speaker last week, Anne Doerr, EPS Executive Director of Student Services, and Ryan Lindquist, EPS Executive Director of Business Support Services. Next week, Gail Stalder will bring his fishing gear and show photos of some of his many fishing expeditions. Guest speaker for February 16th will be Jim Keepers (Arborist) and for February 23rd we will be joined by Steve Sellhorst (Home Security Systems). Please continue to identify future potential speakers.

The District Conference will be March 30, 31and April 1 at the UNL Innovation Campus in Lincoln.  Check out the District's website for more information, to include some special events that are scheduled.

Thanks ... see you Thursday!

Tod
