Greetings Rotarians!

Tomorrow (Wednesday) is our Rotary club's participation in the monthly food drive at DC West (4:30 to 5:30).  Volunteers are needed to help distribute food and assist with delivering any excess food to COPE.

Thanks to everyone for showing up last week. In spite of the bitter cold, we had a good turn-out (plus donuts from Diane!). Thanks also to Mike for hosting last week's speaker, Dick Parcher - Viet Nam veteran and military pilot.  Dick served with "F" Troop of the Americal Division and was wounded by sniper fire while flying a combat mission in 1969. This week's speaker will be Jim Meier, representing the Gold Star Families / Honor and Remember organizations.  

It has been suggested that we raise our golf outing participation fee from $90 to $100 per player.  This would help offset the increase in fees that we will more than likely incur from The Pines. More discussion this week ...
