 Greetings Rotarians and Friends of Rotary! Thanks to everyone for making last week's Scholarship Awards event so successful ... special thanks to Jim Tomanek for providing the delicious meal and to Dan Palmquist for coordinating and providing the floral arrangements. The students and their parents were very enthusiastic and appreciative. Hopefully everyone had a chance to meet them, their counselors and school administrators. Each student will also be recognized by their respective schools, through a breakfast awards event, later in April. Tomorrow (Wednesday) is our monthly DC West Food Pantry distribution, from 4:00-5:00 PM, at the DC West School ... volunteers are always needed. At this week's regular meeting, lunch will be provided (lasagne and salad) and Neil Kirby will be sharing his experiences at the Masters. If he does a good job, we'll cut back on his fine for missing our meeting last week ... - April 20: Our guest speaker will be Mike Wortman, District 5650 Trainer and Lincoln 14 Rotary member.
- April 27: WDC Rotary Dining-Out, with spouses and guests, at Bravo Restaurant in Village Pointe. Mike Ough and Diane Johnson are coordinating the event. This evening event will be in place of our regular noon meeting. Please plan on attending (more details to follow).
