Our February 28th business meeting was in two parts, before Joe and after Joe because of his requirement to leave for eye surgery. President Emeritus Bob Worley gave the invocation and led us in the pledge of allegiance.
Treasurer Rita reported a balance of $6,330.68. Secretary Ron didn't have anything to report, however, should have reported that Jane Ferneding, one of our lunch bunch members, is being transferred to the Rotary Club of Blair, Nebraska as most of her business days are spent at the Blair branch of US Bank. She was advised that the lunch bunch is still available for make-up in case the Blair Club has an attendance requirement. With Jane leaving, we are losing our insider to the Templeton Rye syndicate in Templeton, Iowa.
Judy Cline of the Suburban Club visited again to remind us of the Rotary Networking event sponsored by Suburban at Champion's Club on March 3. She advises us that she will visit our club one more time to ensure us maximum opportunity to get information about the event Also in attendance from Suburban Club was Erick Stueckrath. (Larry Johansen, from Downtown Rotary, wasn't attending our club meeting this morning, and purloining Del's chair at the table. )
