Hello Fellow Rotarians,

Thanks to Jim for providing lunch at the last meeting! Tod will be bringing Jimmy John’s sandwiches, chips, and cookies this week.

Thanks to our speaker last meeting, Neil Kirby provided pictures plus information about his trip to Portugal. Our speaker this week will be Craig Stover with the Nebraska Game and Parks, hosted by Rita Kleeman.

Meeting and speaker schedule:

Dec. 7th – Craig Stover, Nebraska Game and Parks, hosted by Rita Kleeman

Dec. 13th – mobile food pantry at DC West schools.

Dec. 14th – pick up food from schools for Holiday Food Baskets 9:00AM

Dec. 14th – Roger Kuhfal with the National Safety Council on the benefits of Industrial Safety assessment and instruction – hosted by Rolly

Dec. 15th – sort and pack Holiday Food Baskets at Bethany Church in Elkhorn, 9:00AM

Dec. 16th – deliver food baskets from Bethany Church and DC West Elementary School, 8:30AM

Dec. 21st – Rotary Member and spouse Christmas Party hosted by Richard Krueger, NO NOON MEETING.

Dec. 28th – Holiday break, no

Jan. 4th – resume regular weekly lunch meetings.

Please mark your calendars for next Wednesday, December 13th at 4:00PM for the monthly drive-thru food pantry at DC West Elementary School parking lot. We will be handing out the ground beef our club purchased with the matching grant funds.

Richard Krueger has generously volunteered his home to host Rotary Holiday Party. The event will be Thursday evening, December 21st from 6:00PM to 8:00Pm at Richards home 17125 Howard Plaza, Omaha (near Pacific Springs Golf Course). Please bring your spouse or guest, whatever you would like to drink, and an hors d’oeuvre to share. We will have a signup sheet at the next couple of meetings.
