Greetings Rotarians:

A big thank you to Lee Cordell and Brad Nelson for taking the time to inform us of all the efforts made by Habitat for Humanity in providing affordable housing in Omaha and Western Douglas County. Many families are now proud homeowners because of the dedication and work of Habitat for Humanity.
 
Thank you Gail Stalder for sharing your story with us last week. Gail has successfully pursued numerous occupations with his characteristic optimism and good humor.  A charter member of Western Douglas County Rotary since 1990, Gail is one outstanding Rotarian!
 
A student from Elkhorn North has applied for the RYLA Rotary Leadership Conference. The cost for us would be $350 if we agree to sponsor the student. We will discuss it on Thursday.
 
Our monthly food handout at DC West Elementary will be Wednesday, September 11th at 3:45.
