Recently, Jill made a trip to the Republic of Columbia as related to her duties at Creighton University.  We look forward to interesting information and photographs.

Jim Tomanek introduced our speaker for the day, Trevor Hudson, who was recently appointed Executive Director of Western Douglas County Chamber of Commerce.  (Jim is a former Executive Director of the Chamber)

Trevor is a Nebraska native who attended Ralston High School and the University of Iowa.  He initially considered himself an aspiring film director.  Marketing and Sales positions he has held since University include a theme park in Chicago, Channels 3 and Channel 7 and the Omaha World Herald.  He has had 18 years of sales experience.

 

Trevor is faced with a need to recover past membership numbers and "rebrand" the chamber.  He noted that current membership is 320, down from a previous high of 400+ (Under Jim Tomanek's leadership).
