Thanks to our speaker last Thursday, Don Neely. Don is a former FBI agent specializing in explosives, he provided great information on what to purchase and where to purchase everyday household products to build our own explosives!!!
Our speaker for this Thursday will be hosted by Jim Tomanek. Stephanie Sullivan with the Food Bank for the Heartland will discuss challenges the food bank is currently faced with as demand for food increases and supplies are reduced.
Our speaker on October 12th will be hosted by Larry Bock. Bernie Kanger is a retired Omaha Fire Chief and the current Fire Chief for Eppley Airfield.
Don’t forget to stop by AIB Bank to donate non-perishable food to COPE, Dan has arranged for some great prizes for a drawing.
Due to a large event at the Foundation building this Thursday, we need to move our meeting to the social hall at St. Augustine Episcopal Church located at 285 South 208th St. in Skyline Ranches in Elkhorn. We will be having Jimmy John’s sandwiches, chips, and cookies for lunch this week.
