BUSINESS MEETING NOTES
President Roger opened the meeting with the invocation and pledge of allegiance to the flag. Introduced were Virgil Oligmueller, prospective member, who lives in Elkhorn and works as a Civil Engineer with Lamp, Rynearson and Associates. Visiting Rotarian Judy Cloine spoke on the forthcoming BUY THE BIG WHEEL, Omaha Metro Rotary Networking Event at Champions Run on Thursday, March 3rd from 4:30 to 7:00 PM. Dan FitzPatrick of US Bank submitted his membership check and application WELCOME DAN!
The Club thanked the hosts and wine contributor for our Progressive Dinner event last weekend, including Steve Kucirek contributing the wine and host homes were at Rita and Rolly's home, Tod's house and Roger Breed's house.
President Roger announced that Dan Palmquist agreed to run for the office of Club President. Jill Muegge was harangued to be Club Secretary but deferred responding until additional pressure can be applied from higher authority, including bribes perhaps. (just kidding). Additional Prez Roger noted that a President Elect is needed for next year and an assistant for the Club Secretary.
Treasurer Rita reported $6,257.80 in our bankbook.
Jim Tomanek reported on the recent Lunch Bunch at Sam and Louie's featuring Adam Gaines from Ridge View Animal Hospital.
Additions and revisions to the minutes are welcome, which would indicate that brilliant parties have read their bulletin.

Jill introduced Lisa Shkolnick, from the Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy (HETRA). The program started with one participant, one horse, and three volunteers. HETRA has grown over the years and now has 19 therapy horse, 21 certified instructors over 118 students. HETRA offers therapeutic riding, hippo (horse) therapy, equine services for veterans and therapeutic carriage riding. The academy is non-profit organization and is currently the only PATH accredited therapeutic riding center in Nebraska.
