Greetings Rotarians! This week (July 1st) our guest speaker will be Allan Rolfs, Korean War Veteran and 91-year old father-in-law of Rex Moats. Allan was a member of the 439th Engineer Battalion out of Belvoir, Virginia. He will be joined by Rex's law partner Margaret McDevitt, a retired Army Colonel and possibly Troy Krings, also a retire Colonel. Allan will share his war-time stories ... please plan on attending if at all possible. Tomorrow (Wednesday, June 30th) is the deadline for updating our 2021-22 membership roster for Rotary International. Unless I hear otherwise, everyone currently on our roster will automatically be renewed for next year. Meeting Notes (June 24, 2021): - Attendance: 9 (in-person); No guests
- Treasurer's Report: $15,271.88 (All accounts); Golf Outing = $11,160.00; District Grant "Seed Money" Account = $60.00

Everyone is invited to attend. Registration is required for the conference. Information is on the District's website.
- Golf Outing: 16 confirmed teams, 25 confirmed hole sponsors. Please continue to pursue other sponsors. Rita contacted Birge Plumbing for a hole sponsorship donation and they contributed a cash donation of $1,500.00 toward our scholarship fund! This single donation will cover the entire cost of the additional Elkhorn North Scholarship for 2022. Thanks Rita!
- Fines: Neil collected several, as usual!
- Future Meetings: We always need speakers ... pleases continue to seek out individuals who might volunteer to speak and possibly become new members.
Thanks ... see you Thursday! Tod |
